QRWN

Member Resource Kit

The Queensland Rural Women’s Network is a wide and varied organisation.

There are many reasons why women across Queensland join, and there are many different ways in which individuals, branches and regions operate in order to suit their own needs.

These guidelines have been developed as a ‘one stop shop’ for information on the structure of the organisation, and roles various people play.

It is also a tool for members and branches to help in day to day operations, and to provide advice on a range of issues. Please remember that, while we
ask that some of the procedures be adhered to in order for the QRWN to achieve consistency in operations, much of the information contained in the kit is provided as a guide only.

The diversity of our organisation will mean everyone will have a unique
approach.

Of course, there is no substitution for networking and personal contact. If you have any questions or need help on any topic, please contact your
appropriate Regional Director, Working Party Co-ordinator, or a
member of the Management Committee.

And remember, if something works really well for you, don’t be afraid to share your ideas or information with other QRWN members.
