Blueprint for the Bush - Rural Women's Symposium

In March 2008, the Premier Anna Bligh and Minister Warren Pitt announced plans for three annual regional women's symposiums beginning this year. The 2008 Rural Women's Symposium will be held during August in Roma.

The Rural Women's Symposium is a Blueprint for the Bush initiative organised by the Office of Rural and Regional Communities, the Office for Women and Blueprint for the Bush partners.

The theme for the 2008 symposium is:

'Liveability - A Women's View'

The purpose of the symposium is to develop ideas and create solutions to improve the 'liveability' of rural communities for women. For more information click here.
